It's a new year, we are a new gym.
With training now in full swing it is time to start talking nutrition! For our veterans we challenge you to redial in and up upgrade your prescription. For our new family members we challenge you to embrace this opportunity to go experience the magic of what happens when proper training meets proper nutrition.
Most challenges are structured around the symptoms rather than the cause. Like putting a bandaid on an arterial bleed, they focus on fixing things in the short term rather than dealing with the root cause.
The Kura Gets Clean and Lean Challenge is not a bandaid.
It is not just about you losing 10lbs in 30 days.
It is not just about getting you to eat bacon and gluten free foods or avoiding carbs.
By the end of this challenge end you will make better food choices. You will do so because you have become educated on the WHY behind what you are doing, not simply because we told you to.
Eating mindfully is a skill that once developed trumps any diet plan or fad and is the key to long-term health and wellness. And that’s just the beginning. As with everything we do at Kura you the athlete will choose how deep you want to go during the challenge. We are not putting square pegs in round holes. This is truly your challenge, to make you a better you. Whatever you think that is.
It’s just that simple. Make a commitment to replace a few bad lifestyle habits with good lifestyle habits for 30 days and see what happens. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
All items will be scored on and tracked on a gym leaderboard.
We encourage everyone to accept this invitation and band together to improve as individuals and as a community. Challenge kicks off Sunday January 25th.
